Overcoming business limits and beliefs

What are your beliefs and which ones are holding you back.

 

Let me explain how this works:

Let’s imagine that someone holds the belief:

  • ‘I’m not good enough’
  • How would they feel about themselves?
  • What would their ‘self talk’ be?
  • What would they notice in the world? – All the negatives that support their belief.
  • How would they behave?

My role is to challenge such limiting beliefs with incisive questions. One of the ways of doing this is to explore what it would be like to hold the opposite view?

So let’s run the model again this time with the new belief.

‘’I am good enough! Actually I’m brilliant!’’

  • How would they feel about themselves?
  • What would there ‘self talk’ be?
  • What would they notice in the world? – All the positives that support their belief.
  • How would they behave?

 

Challenging and Changing Beliefs is one of the most powerful ways of shifting people enables them to gain greater control and success of any situation. It generally leads to greater ‘personal power’ and effectiveness.

  3. That it’s not possible? (Belief)
  4. That you don’t have the energy or are too stressed out? (Health)
  5. That other people are stopping you in some way? (Other people)
  6. That you don’t care enough? (Motivation)
  7. That you don’t have the time? (Time)
  8. That you don’t have the money? (Money)
  9. That it scares you? (Fear)
